Reptiles are cold-blooded with hard, dry scales for skin. With no fur or feathers for insulation, they cannot stay warm on a cold day, and without sweat glands, they cannot cool off on a hot day. Instead, they move into the sun or into the shade as needed.
Swing by Rimba (Malay word for jungle) and say hi to our handful of reptile species.
Caution: When at Rimba, tapping on the glass cage is not permitted! Please be gentle!
